MMA Vs Traditional Martial arts

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is usually that the fastest growing sport inside the. It has given individuals a power outlet to test their qualifications against other skilled fighters in the domain name of sport. MMA utilizes alternate strikes such as punches, punches, elbows and knees depending on the rules governing that certain event. MMA also enables fighters to hold on to their opponent down as a consequence of throws or wrestling and once all over MMA fighters use grappling to allow them to submit their opponent or punish them with strikes until the referee stops your dream.

Fights can be successful by submission, knockout, technical put, or judges decision. I myself have been learning MMA and did instead of well. I won some fights and i also lost some fights but I possess a blast competing. I personally love MMA and just it brings to martial arts right sport. MMA fighters are some of the best athletes in the world and best conditioned. I have great respect for many individuals willing to put their body through the grueling training required becoming successful fighter. The problem You want with some MMA fighters is the total lack of respect for that traditional martial arts. These fighters are to their minority in their approach as most MMA mixed martial artists have immense respect for traditional fighting techinques.

These fighters are generally amateurs who do not put in the time nor the energy when you train but rather do it solely as the label. These guys think being labeled a "MMA fighter" would bring them respect and purchase for them a higher standing within society or even within the martial martial arts disciplines community. My question is just what exactly do these "MMA fighters" think they actually? Afterall if you harm the moniker MMA it stands for No holds barred combat. MMA fighters are martial artists who train in many styles of martial arts held in a hybrid fashion. Sure many MMA schools don't carry with them the traditional values and a philosophies of traditional dojos as with discipline, self-esteem, respect, life values, and honor......... but several do. The fact is goods fighters who lack respect for traditional martial arts training are naive. Simply put that may practicing traditional martial arts and in addition they don't even realize this. Albeit it is a watered down version of different fighting styles combined hence the "mixed" in no holds barred combat.

They use boxing in the case of hand strikes; Taekwondo, Karate, and Kickboxing for a great kicks; Ju-Jitsu for their finest submissions; Judo and wrestling to aid their throws and takedowns......... all traditional martial arts. Again MMA is with regard to sport NOT self-defense. MMA is regulated by rules such as weight classes, no petite joint manipulations, no strikes on this groin, no strikes to get joints, no kneeing a downed opponent throughout your head, no eye calibrating, no friends allowed to participate the fight, no is awesome, no knives, no ergonomic, no glass bottles....... you can my drift. Traditional martial arts such as Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Modern martial arts, and Aikido etc were crafted for life or dying situations. The entire point of this post is that I firmly feel like ALL martial art styles is respected. Each and every style brings a unique some of to self-defense. Sure we develop our own philosophies, opinions, and way of evaluating other martial arts but in conclusion they all should please be respected. This is my opinion and my estimation alone although I am sure many will agree.
