The firstly I teach young children talks about their personal space. As being a dance educator, it is more then just "keeping the hands to yourself" but understanding wonderful space. For example, some children yearn to talk close in one additional child's face; other's will instinctively obtain friends hand or sit with another child. Some children do not fully understand their bodies and every time they play they easy knock into others and are also considered "rough. Some suggestions are: sticky, gooey campy, melty pizza. crunchy popcorn, wiggly spaghetti, and/or jiggly jello. The more descriptive words much better. Now have them make believe you eat it and in order to the journey of the food the moment swallow it and the jiggly jello jiggles sth their throat, jiggles in their bellies and jiggles to the foot of their feet. Maybe almost every sticky, gooey pizza travels around their ribs or or their arms. This exercise begins to teach children that there exists space inside our authorities. 2. Every child should still be in their own personal special spot. They cannot move their feet because of a special spot but will reach and stretch to the arms in any therapy. Let them explore primary spots around them, above them away, under them, beside them away. Let them explore the close space around their neck, behind a person's knees, under their chin as opposed to reach as far away as they can as well. Space is not merely inside them but always around them too.

3. Now we would love to move through the practices. Make the movement boundaries clean. You can use cones or sometimes painter's tape to mark the movement important living area. I usually make training rectangle or square and it is known as our movement square. There is also a defined space and aren't to go outside room. Now that the children serviced moving their bodies for their spots, remind them they already have control of their bodies or use the space around them. Start slow and seeing the children walk around the actual. They may be close or in no way another person but normally do not touch. This game boosts the more they workout.
