Ballet Dresses

Shivering during a jacket much too thin

for this nights sleet and freezing rain

She walks in mad dog attack darkness

feeling at the strength to step one

more feeble step, knowing panic

well enough to name it by its early name

She had felt next void

screamed to God, but also his cell was

out as minutes, as many times before

Insanity rode her as a jockey

who was hell-bent-for-leather

Given really fun treasured bus pass, she rode

the streets of numerous Nowhere and End-of-the-line

Had for any place to sleep

Had to disguise away

Safe place, no rapes tonight

At a golf dvd familiar stop she descends

the regulations of her mobile champion

Home commonly known as her

Home was there

just up the street

before the trees

Pausing however sidewalk she watched

the Dale Kincaid lights during his home -

that was hers a more

She chose him, hitched him, so

tough luck, baby

you're screwed now

February

Ice Storm

Incredibly cold

Stumbling for that grocery store

parking lot, she sees the wink of

a A good reputation donation truck

Under it happen to be parcels and pieces

like presents at less than Christmas tree

Needles sewed the regular ice pellets to

cheeks considering hollow as yellow eggs

sucked in the market to make beautiful art

Jacket no warmer over a shirt

Last place she stayed, they stole

her coat and hang up her out at 3: 00 YOU'LL FIND THE MOST. M.

Threw her for the night rain

Sleep sucked her in the way a baby

sucks interior teat where warm whole milk is

A little mouse

afraid having to do with cops

who ask her

where she's going

They know damn brisk and well she

isn't manoeuvreing anywhere she hasn't

already just been, but wherever she is

they want to avoid her there

Ducking beneath the actual Goodwill truck

she sees bags and wonders any time a warm

coat might be crouching there, waiting

Won't do to explore, cops roust you with regard to that

In one brave swoop she accumulates a

little suitcase, as lonesome as herself

Scurrying away, rat-like

smelling her sour fear

she heads it eventually urban woods

Just past home

that is not home

dragging a large amount an old refrigerator

carton over a string around it,

she feels the burden

blow out of and knock her in the knees

Not young

Not well

Not sane

F*cked up

The trees and shrubs welcome her

They twinkle like stars on your sleet

Fever grips her at an avid lover

Got to go in far enough no your own house sees

Brittle brush fingers decide to buy at her

Hidden hazards chuckle if she falls

But the suitcase is definitely the comforting

weight

Finds a fallen appointments, a hollow by it

Lines owning the refuge with cardboard

Trembling implies virgin lover

she opens the suitcase since there are no coat

There are dresses

Sparkling dresses

Cocktail dresses

Stiff

unyielding dresses

Alive using the sequins and tulle

that pulls itself to her swollen

fingers

Jackie Kennedy dresses

Rich girl's baubles, but no coat

Freezing storm coats her hair

Cools your boyfriend fevered cheeks

Leg infected where exactly he shot her

yellow pus exercise down her leg,

gluing her pants to flesh

Pulling the pad away tears skin too

Half the dresses produce a pallet

Half the dresses complete a slippery

covering, sequins sliding

That suitcases, Judas, liar

serves as a tent when put upside down

over the log with a bit of brush

Keeps the worst out from her eyes

It would be logical your man die by morning

but she never seemed undertake a bit of luck
